The work Boat-ride at Sunset by Zhang Hong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,497.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio by a Secluded Stream in April last year with an auction result of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72).

Die Arbeit Boat-ride at Sunset von Zhang Hong kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.497,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72).
