A top price for Zhang Hong - as previously expected
The work Studio by a Secluded Stream by Zhang Hong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Studio by a Secluded Stream is the most expensive artwork by Zhang Hong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream von Zhang Hong wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Studio by a Secluded Stream das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhang Hong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
