Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Excursion To Clear Water Bay by Zhang Hong. It changed hands for a price of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 1,948.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Hong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio by a Secluded Stream in April last year with an auction result of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Excursion To Clear Water Bay von Zhang Hong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 1.948,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72).
