This artwork by Zhai Yunsheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Seven-Character Couplet In Clerical Script sold for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,694.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhai Yunsheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clerical Script Calligraphy in December last year with an auction result of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 18,119.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhai Yunsheng erzielte im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Clerical Script für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.694,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhai Yunsheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clerical Script Calligraphy im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 18.119,13).
