The work Couplet Calligraphy in Clerical Script by Zhai Yunsheng was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,097.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhai Yunsheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Clerical Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in December last year for HKD 151,200.00 (€ 18,119.13).

Die Arbeit Couplet Calligraphy in Clerical Script von Zhai Yunsheng kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 8.097,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhai Yunsheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Clerical Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für HKD 151.200,00 (€ 18.119,13) versteigert wurde.
