Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zeng Jianyong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2008. In the Under the Influence auction, the work without title sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,281.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Jianyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zeng Jianyong erzielte im März 2008 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Under the Influence wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.281,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
