This work without title by Zainul Abedin was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2008. It achieved a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 11,863.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zainul Abedin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Santhal Women) in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 161,331.96).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zainul Abedin kam im März 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 11.863,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zainul Abedin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Santhal Women) im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 161.331,96).
