This artwork by Zainul Abedin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2010. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled (Landscape) sold for USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,733.40) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zainul Abedin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Santhal Women) in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 161,331.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zainul Abedin erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) für USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.733,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zainul Abedin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Santhal Women) im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 161.331,96).
