Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Composition - 1936 by Yves Tanguy. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,872.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Tanguy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Extinction des espèces II in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 3,131,250.00 (€ 3,519,989.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition - 1936 von Yves Tanguy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.872,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Tanguy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Extinction des espèces II im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.131.250,00 (€ 3.519.989,38).
