This artwork by Yves Brayer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Paysage d'Arizona sold for USD 16,380.00 (€ 13,825.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yves Brayer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960 sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of EUR 17,968.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yves Brayer erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage d'Arizona für USD 16.380,00 (€ 13.825,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yves Brayer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960 im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 17.968,00.
