It achieved a price of EUR 4,986.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yves Brayer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 17,968.00.

Die Arbeit Vue sur les Alpilles au pied du rocher des Baux - 1961 von Yves Brayer wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.986,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Yves Brayer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Rocher Blanc Au Cypres, Les Baux, 1960 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 17.968,00 versteigert wurde.
