Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Marilyn - Diam’s 1, 1990 by Yvaral for CHF 5,040.00 (€ 4,597.17). This price was achieved in the auction The Swiss Fine Art Sale at Sothebys in Zurich and was even below the estimate range of CHF 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Yvaral have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Variation Sur Le Carré in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Marilyn - Diam’s 1, 1990 von Yvaral für CHF 5.040,00 (€ 4.597,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale bei Sothebys in Zürich erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvaral auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Variation Sur Le Carré im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48).
