This artwork by Yvaral achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. In the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 auction, the work Structure Ambigüe Quadri BVV sold for EUR 17,850.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvaral - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Variation Sur Le Carré, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yvaral erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 wurde die Arbeit Structure Ambigüe Quadri BVV für EUR 17.850,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvaral mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Variation Sur Le Carré beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48) versteigert wurde.
