In June this year Bonhams held the auction Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2099, which included the work Quadrature du cercle (Diptyque) by Yvaral. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,680.00 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yvaral have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Variation Sur Le Carré in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2099 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quadrature du cercle (Diptyque) von Yvaral zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.680,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvaral auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Variation Sur Le Carré im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48).
