Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter Landscape by Yun Xiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 87,477.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yun Xiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape with Pine Trees, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Yun Xiang wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 87.477,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yun Xiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape with Pine Trees beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03) versteigert wurde.
