This artwork by Yun Xiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the The Su Zhu An Collection of Chinese Paintings and Inkstones (Paintings Section) auction, the work Resort By The River sold for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,554.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yun Xiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape with Pine Trees in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Xiang erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Su Zhu An Collection of Chinese Paintings and Inkstones (Paintings Section) wurde die Arbeit Resort By The River für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.554,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yun Xiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape with Pine Trees im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
