Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings, which included the work Houses By The River by Yun Xiang. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,250.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Xiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape with Pine Trees in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Houses By The River von Yun Xiang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.250,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Xiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape with Pine Trees im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
