In September 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal, which included the work Landscape by Yun Xiang. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,470.63), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yun Xiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape with Pine Trees in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Yun Xiang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.470,63) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yun Xiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape with Pine Trees im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
