This artwork by Yun Xiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscape In Rain sold for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 31,241.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yun Xiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape with Pine Trees in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Xiang erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscape In Rain für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 31.241,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yun Xiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape with Pine Trees im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
