Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Happy Meal Crossing by Yuken Teruya for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,962.84). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Yuken Teruya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work LVMH (Christian Dior, Hennessy, Pucci, Givenchy, Sephora, Le Bonmarché, Berluti, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Chandon Nappa Valley) in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,677.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Happy Meal Crossing von Yuken Teruya für USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.962,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuken Teruya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit LVMH (Christian Dior, Hennessy, Pucci, Givenchy, Sephora, Le Bonmarché, Berluti, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Chandon Nappa Valley) im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.677,90).
