Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pine Trees in the Valley by Yuan Songnian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 43,750 (€ 4,865). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Songnian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees in the Valley von Yuan Songnian kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 43.750 (€ 4.865) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
