Upper estimate price exceeded by 73%
In April last year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Hua Moutains by Yuan Songnian. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 25,960 (€ 2,779), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Songnian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73% übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hua Moutains von Yuan Songnian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 25.960 (€ 2.779) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
