It achieved a price of HKD 63,750.00 (€ 6,924.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Kewen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 107,922.19).

Die Arbeit Poems In Running Script von Yuan Kewen kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 63.750,00 (€ 6.924,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Kewen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 107.922,19).
