The work Couplet In Running Script by Yuan Kewen was worth HKD 456,000.00 (€ 50,723.68) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Kewen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 107,922.19).

Die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Yuan Kewen war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 456.000,00 (€ 50.723,68) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Kewen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 107.922,19) versteigert wurde.
