This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at POLY in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Kewen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 107,922.19).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Kewen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy After Ouyang Xun beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 107.922,19) versteigert wurde.
