This artwork by Yuan Jiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Mountains and River after Snow sold for HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 114,611.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Jiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuan Jiang erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Mountains and River after Snow für HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 114.611,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57) versteigert wurde.
