Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Han Palace Under Autumn Moonlight by Yuan Jiang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 65,182.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuan Jiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Han Palace Under Autumn Moonlight von Yuan Jiang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 65.182,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57).
