In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Gathering On A Spring Day by Yuan Jiang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 237,500.00 (€ 22,517.64), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gathering On A Spring Day von Yuan Jiang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 22.517,64) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57).
