Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Turtledove By The Foliage by Yu Zhonglin. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Zhonglin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birds By The Waterweeds, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Turtledove By The Foliage von Yu Zhonglin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhonglin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birds By The Waterweeds beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75) versteigert wurde.
