The work Lotus and Birds by Yu Zhonglin was worth USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,292.21) to a buyer in March 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Zhonglin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birds By The Waterweeds, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhonglin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birds By The Waterweeds beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75) versteigert wurde.
