Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Butterfly And Peonies by Yu Zhonglin was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Zhonglin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birds By The Waterweeds, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Butterfly And Peonies von Yu Zhonglin kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhonglin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birds By The Waterweeds beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75) versteigert wurde.
