Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures by Yu Zhonglin was auctioned at POLY in Poly Auction App in May last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 712.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Zhonglin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds By The Waterweeds in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures von Yu Zhonglin kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei POLY in Poly Auction App zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 712,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhonglin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds By The Waterweeds im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75).
