Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work New Year Blessings by Yu Zhonglin. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,284.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Zhonglin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds By The Waterweeds in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit New Year Blessings von Yu Zhonglin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.284,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhonglin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds By The Waterweeds im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75).
