Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mao And His People – Blue by Yu Youhan was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 172,828.07). Admittedly, works by Yu Youhan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1985-4 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 14,100,000.00 (€ 1,225,342.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mao And His People – Blue von Yu Youhan wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 172.828,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Youhan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1985-4 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.100.000,00 (€ 1.225.342,42).
