Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Peng Yu. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Yu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peng Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Yu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87) versteigert wurde.
