In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Overflow Of Water From Mountainous Scream-1 by Peng Yu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,122.88), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Peng Yu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87) in April 2016 for the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff.

Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Overflow Of Water From Mountainous Scream-1 von Peng Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.122,88) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Peng Yu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87) im April 2016 für die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff beobachtet.
