Despite a disappointment, a good price for Peng Yu
When the work Let Me Drink And Drown My Sorrows (Quadriptych) by Peng Yu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87). Despite this disappointing result, Let Me Drink And Drown My Sorrows (Quadriptych) is the most expensive artwork by Peng Yu that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Let Me Drink And Drown My Sorrows (Quadriptych) von Peng Yu im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
