Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work Landscape Figures No.4 by Peng Yu. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,426.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Figures No.4 von Peng Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.426,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87).
