Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Soaring Towards Change by Peng Yu for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,873.17). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Yu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Soaring Towards Change von Peng Yu für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.873,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Yu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87) versteigert wurde.
