Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Liquoring In The Fancy World (#1) by Peng Yu. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,166.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Peng Yu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff was auctioned for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Liquoring In The Fancy World (#1) von Peng Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.166,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Peng Yu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87) versteigert.
