Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Amid The Mist Of Waterfall; Misty Fog Makes Cool by Peng Yu was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,633.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,982.87).

Die Arbeit Amid The Mist Of Waterfall; Misty Fog Makes Cool von Peng Yu wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.633,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alone At The Edge Of A Precipitous Cliff im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.982,87).
