Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work Tiny Figure - Female by Yu Ji. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,153.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Ji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Planting Bamboo in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,650,000.00 (€ 912,387.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiny Figure - Female von Yu Ji zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.153,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Ji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Planting Bamboo im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.650.000,00 (€ 912.387,57).
