It achieved a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,668.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Ji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Planting Bamboo in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,650,000.00 (€ 912,387.57).

Die Arbeit Flesh in Stone - Tiny Figure #3 von Yu Ji kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.668,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Ji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Planting Bamboo im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.650.000,00 (€ 912.387,57).
