Upper estimate price exceeded by 47 %.
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Tiny Figure - Male by Yu Ji. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 88,200.00 (€ 9,768.87), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Ji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Planting Bamboo in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,650,000.00 (€ 912,387.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiny Figure - Male von Yu Ji zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 9.768,87) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Ji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Planting Bamboo im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.650.000,00 (€ 912.387,57).
