In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work She - Beautiful Writer Zhao Bo (In 2 Parts) by Yu Hong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 800,000.00 (€ 74,276.67), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yu Hong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait With Alternating Red And Green in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit She - Beautiful Writer Zhao Bo (In 2 Parts) von Yu Hong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 74.276,67) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Hong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81).
