Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yu Hong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Young Pioneers sold for HKD 2,440,000.00 (€ 251,205.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 900,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Hong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait With Alternating Red And Green sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Hong erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Young Pioneers für HKD 2.440.000,00 (€ 251.205,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 900.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Hong; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green im April 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81).
