Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Gymnastic Series (Set Of Five) by Yu Hong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 38,607.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Hong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait With Alternating Red And Green in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gymnastic Series (Set Of Five) von Yu Hong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 38.607,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Hong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81).
