Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scorching Sun by Yu Hong was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 189,843.33). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Hong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait With Alternating Red And Green, which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scorching Sun von Yu Hong wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 189.843,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Hong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81) versteigert wurde.
