It achieved a price of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,149.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Yu Hong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait With Alternating Red And Green in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).

Die Arbeit Looking (Set Of Eight) von Yu Hong kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.149,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Hong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81).
