Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Yu Chengyao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 70,607.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Chengyao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Magnificent Landscape in November 2008 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 587,379.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Yu Chengyao kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 70.607,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Chengyao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 587.379,86).
